Comet Hop — Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 7, 2026
Information stored on your device
Your best score, number of games played, music and sound settings, and whether you have purchased Remove Ads are saved locally on your device only. We do not upload them. Deleting the app removes them.
Advertising
Comet Hop shows ads provided by Google AdMob: optional rewarded videos that you choose to watch to continue a run, and occasional full-screen ads between games. To deliver, limit and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google's advertising SDK may collect information such as your IP address (from which a general location can be inferred), device identifiers, device and app information, how you interact with ads, and diagnostic data. This data is collected and processed by Google under its own policy; see How Google uses information from apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
The app does not ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites and does not access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA). In regions where the law requires it, such as the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, you are asked for your consent choices before ads are shown.
In-app purchase
You can buy Remove Ads, a one-time purchase that removes the full-screen ads between games. Payment is handled entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. We never receive your payment details. You can restore the purchase at any time from the Remove Ads dialog.
Voice call-outs
The game speaks short phrases such as "New record!". These phrases are bundled with the app. If a phrase is ever not bundled, the app sends only that fixed game phrase and the language code to our text-to-speech service to generate audio. No identifiers or personal data are included, and the request is not linked to you. If you are offline, the game simply plays without that voice line.
Third parties
Apart from Google AdMob (advertising) and Apple (purchases), we do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. Standard network logs of the text-to-speech service provider may briefly record technical request data (such as IP address) for security and operation, as with any internet request; we do not use this to identify you.
Children
Comet Hop is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will help address it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
